After a year or so of hiatus, Will Arnett returns in Netflix’s award winning animated show, as “BoJack Horseman.”
The show picks up three months after BoJack decides to disappear from his life at “Hollywoo.” Diane Nguyen (Alison Brie) narrates the events in a voicemail to BoJack, describing what has been going on since his disappearance. Diane begins with herself and her new job at a blog company, showing that it’s not all that she thought it would be. She then moves on to Mr. Peanutbutter, (Paul F. Tompkins) her husband and Bojack’s longtime rival, who is now running for governor of California. Mr. Peanutbutter is seen campaigning in different locations and news reporters being content with what he has to say.
Princess Carolyn (Amy Sedaris) is shown being in a happy relationship with her boyfriend and in talks of starting a family together, while Todd Chavez (Aaron Paul) is having all types of adventures like walking on the runway to skydiving out in the open.
The most shocking part is where there is speculation that BoJack has a daughter. She is seen throughout the promos trying to locate him and ends up meeting Todd. She explains that when she was a baby, everyone had told her she looks like Bojack. Todd reciprocates with “That’s a terrible thing to say to a baby!”
It appears that the beloved characters could finally have positive things happen in their life, besides Bojack, who no one has any idea of how he’s doing, and this new season could bring new twists and storylines that will keep audiences on the edge of their beds. Season four premieres Sept. 8th on Netflix with all episodes available for immediate binging.
