Democratic Nomination System Needs Work, Scrap Superdelegates
As the heated battle between Sens. Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination drags on, the chairman of the Democratic National Committee, Howard Dean, is finally asserting himself into the foray and demanding a decision by the remaining 256 superdelegates on which candidate they’re supporting by July 1.
