Interfaith Debate Pits Christianity Against Islam

When community members gathered the
Saturday before Easter in the Mills Godwin
auditorium, it was not for “an interfaith
picnic… it was to hear the truth,” said David
Wood, a speaker in the afternoon’s event. The
event was a debate on Muhammad legitimacy
as a prophet of God, and though the audience
was modest, the intensity was apparent.
