The American Red Cross is partnering up with 13News Now to host a blood drive that aims to give aid to hospital patients throughout Hampton roads during the holiday season.
The blood drives will be held at Chesapeake Square Mall, Greenbrier Mall and Patrick Henry Mall from December 18 through December 2 from 11:00 am to 4:00 p.m. with the exception of December 20 being held from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The American Red Cross states that all blood types are needed. If someone is interested in donating blood they can download the American Red Cross app, visit the American Red Cross website or call 1-800-733-2767 to schedule an appointment and learn more information about the requirements for donors.
Walk-ins are also welcome as the American Red Cross emphasizes that the importance is getting as much donations as possible in order to better the community.
Anyone who participates will receive a Red Cross t-shirt while their supplies last along with a $5.00 amazon gift card if they donate by December 19. The American Red Cross is encouraging viewers of 13News Now to help their community and donate.

The annual Jingle Bell Blood Drive is an act of giving back to the community and providing aid to those in need. The American Red Cross is a non-profit organization that has provides about 40 percent of the blood to the country and is looking for more donors this holiday season.
