The Office of Housing and Residence Life hosted the Late Night Breakfast at Broderick Dining Commons at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7th. The purpose of this event was to have students across campus to come and relax before finals week by having breakfast and school supplies provided to them.
“I feel prepared for finals because I have listened to the professors in class and went to their office hours, however I am anxious about how my final grade will turn out,” said Taylor-Raye Council, sophomore.
Broderick dining commons was filled with students of all ages and provided delicious breakfast and games for them to enjoy. As soon as students entered the dining hall they were greeted with a free ODU Monarch cup. The breakfast consisted of pancakes, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and hash browns. The games were there for students to have the chance to win gifts provided by the Office of Housing and Residence Life.
“I decided to come to Broderick after dark because it was a fun experience last year and it is supporting students during finals week by helping them get supplies and having a fun night,” said Council.
The dining hall was filled with great upbeat music as well as happy greetings from the hosts of the event. Students were impacted by having the chance to attend this free event and hang out with their fellow classmates for a fun night on campus before finals week.
